42 Weeks

Throughout Brittney Griner’s wrongful 42-week detainment in Russia, it was heartbreaking to see the political injustices and media chatter pointed against her. but despite the circumstances she fought on with grace.

My hope is that we continue to remind ourselves of who we are and the fortitude within us. We matter and we deserve. We are gentle but we are fearless. Both soft and strong.

And sis, that is our power.
