To honor Michaela Onyenwere’s Nigerian roots, this piece incorporates various African prints and fabrics along the sleeves. The arm print is mixed with a subtle, vintage Colorado tee graphic to rep her hometown and cement her mark in history - Onyenwere is the first woman from Colorado ever selected in the first round of the WNBA draft.

A clear circular vinyl is carved into the back of the sweater to portray a picture frame, or window, that looks into and celebrates Onyenwere’s family and culture.
